Xiaomi is turning out to be a worldwide leader in smartphones with its incredible approach to the largest smartphone market- India. The company recently released Redmi series 6 in India but reports are coming that the Chinese manufacturer might be already eyeing for Xiaomi series 7 launch.
The new series has been spotted at the esteemed 3C certification a.k.a China’s Compulsory Certificate. Redmi 7 series might comprise 3 devices including
Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro reported Nashville Chatter- the agency that spotted these rumors first.
There is no certification website that has released any specifications of the Redmi 7 series. However, a new report claims that all three models including the Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro will have the fast charging support.
Spotting three new smartphones under the Xiaomi brand name on 3C website, Nashville Chatter reported the model numbers M1901F7E, M1901F7T, and M1901F7C. Since the last series started with M18, these new models could be the new Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro.
Price Range of Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro
Suggesting a price bar for the new Redmi 7 series, the devices may fall somewhere around the Redmi 6 series since Redmi has a history of replacing the old devices with new ones at the same price range.
To recall the previous devices, Xiaomi Redmi 6 started selling in India at Rs 7,999 for the base model of 32GB storage and the variants went up till 64GB internal support costing Rs 9,499. While Xiaomi Redmi 6A was priced at Rs 5,999 for the 16GB storage device and Rs 6,999 for the 32GB storage device, the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro had the highest level of reputation in Indian market priced at Rs 10,999 for the base 3GB RAM model and Rs 12,999 for the next 4GB RAM variant. The company saw huge success with these budget smartphones and we can expect something similar to the upcoming Redmi 7A, Redmi 7, and Redmi 7 Pro.
Some other features we can expect in these devices can include fast charging support, Face Unlock, dual VoLTE support, and expandable storage.
Returning to where it all began, Xiaomi will once again capture all the market in 10k segment of India if there will be no competition. Notably, the current status of the said market doesn’t have a hold. Few names that compete in that segment include Asus, Lenovo, and the latest buzz Realme.
