Xiaomi yesterday launched Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones in the home market of China. The gradient finish and back panel holds a triple camera setup in both the devices. There’s also a waterdrop style notch on the devices available in multiple colors. The highlights of the two smartphones Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e include 48MP back sensor, 32MP selfie shooter, in-screen fingerprint sensor, and a 4,030mAh battery. Apart from that, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer also launched Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition. Let’s get into the specifications of these newest members of the Xiaomi smartphone family.
Xiaomi Mi CC9, Mi CC9e, Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition: Prices and Availability
The standard Xiaomi Mi CC9 is priced at CNY 1,799 (Rs. 18,000 approx) for the 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant, and CNY 1,999 (Rs. 20,000 approx) for 6GB RAM and 128GB internal capacity. The smartphone is set to release in Dark Prince, White Lover, and Blue Planet colors.
Coming to the Xiaomi Mi CC9e price, the smartphone is released in two variants including 4GB RAM and 64GB internal as well as 6GB RAM and 64GB internal priced at CNY 1,299 (Rs. 13,000 approx.) and CNY 1,399 (Rs. 14,000 approx) respectively.
The last model, named Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, will carry a price of CNY 1,599 (Rs. 16,000 approx.) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB model. The color options will remain the same as of Mi CC9.
However, Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition will also come to market in a premium variant with White gradient finish only. This device with 8GB RAM and 256GB will carry a price tag of CNY 2,599 (Rs. 26,000 approx.). The only differences between this premium version of the device and the standard Mi CC9e will be RAM, storage, and different color option.
About the availability, the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition will go on sale starting July 5 in China whereas the Mi CC9e will be available to buy starting July 9.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Specifications
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 710 processor clocking at 2.2GHz alongside 6GB RAM and Adreno 616 GPU. it features a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2340 pixels of resolution, 430 nits peak brightness, and 403ppi pixel density. While the internal storage starts from 64GB and can go up to 128GB, you can also expand the storage up to 256GB through a microSD card.
As far as optics are concerned, the Mi CC9 will sport a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera houses a number of features such as portrait mode bokeh, super night mode, 4K video recording, slow-motion video recording at 960fps, panorama, HDR, and many more.
The front of the device houses a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. It also includes a number of features including AI Portrait Mode, Front Panorama, Mimoji Shooting, 3D Beauty, Front HDR, Gesture Photo, AI Smart Beauty, Face Recognition. Front Screen Fill, and a lot more.
There is a 4,030mAh battery powering the device which comes with 18W fast charging. The smartphone also houses an in-screen fingerprint sensor, Hi-Res audio, and Game Turbo 2.0. This mid-range device comes with a USB Type-C port as well as a 3.5mm audio jack.
Xiaomi Mi CC9e Specifications
Mi CC9e features a smaller 6.088-inch HD+ AMOLED display with 720×1560 pixels of resolution, TUV Rheinland certification, and 350 nits screen brightness. As far as hardware is concerned, Mi CC9e comes with an octa-core Snapdragon 665 11nm tech-based chipset clocking at 2.0GHz alongside 4GB and 6GB RAM options. While there are two storage options including 64GB and 128GB for storage, users can also expand it up to 256GB using a microSD card.
It packs everything else similar to the standard Mi CC9 from a 4,030mAh battery with 18W fast charging support to in-display fingerprint sensor as well as the camera. However, the only difference apart from the processing unit is that Mi CC9e lacks the NFC support.
