It will be a wholly surprise as Google has announced to launch recording and transcribe call features in its Google Pixel phones. As Android phones have features of call recordings, Google would also have needed to add some functionality that set it apart from the norm in its own Google way. When this feature is out, we’ll be able to see precisely how well it behaves and works.
Google has been working on-call recording and transcribe call features for its phone app for a long time, and finally, the people can see how it works at XDA Developers.
The call recording functionality of the Google Phone app has been enabled in the beta editions. Now the users will be able to transcribe recordings and can be able to convert them for note-taking and data. Moreover, the app will also notify both the parties about the starting of recording as the recording has begun to avoid any legal assertion.
The XDA developer team has successfully managed to enable the call recording feature entirely on beta versions of the Google Phone app. The app, when used, also works very well. As it’s a call recording feature, so if it works, there isn’t anything to say other than it does what it says it does.
Google will also alert both the recorder and the recorded party of the conceivable legal issues around recordings. Callers will be able to hear a short voice message that “This call is being recorded,” as soon as the recording begins. The recording laws vary from state to state and country to country, and the company appears to use a notification strategy as a way to protect itself (and users) from liability. (at least in the beta versions).
Most interestingly, Google Pixel will also give transcription features along with a voice recorder. The company has first displayed the Pixel Recorder app and later showed the Live Captions feature on the Pixel 2 and above. Now the company is going to introduce this so that the recordings can also be made in the Phone app as well.
