Vivo has been adding devices to its Y-series constantly and the latest addition, Vivo Y17, has been launched in India yesterday. The smartphone has a waterdrop-style notch over the 6.35-inch display. It looks promising with 5,000 mAh battery and Dual-Engine fast charging tech. It has got the Ultra Gaming Mode but some might doubt the chipset performance considering that it has a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC.

Vivo Y17 Prices and Availability in India
The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has priced the device at Rs 17,990 in India. It will be available in Mineral Blue and Mystic Purple color options. It will be available on all e-commerce stores inclduing Flipkart, Amazon, Official Viovo e-store, and Paytm. You can also buy the device from authorised retail stores anywhere.
The company is also giving some offers for the phone. For customers buying from online stores, Vivo Y17 will have an exchange discount of Rs 1,000 and there will be a no-cost EMI option for up to 9 months. There are also 5% cashback offers available on SBI credit and debit cards. An exclusive offer for Jio subscribers comes bundled with the pack where the eligible buyers can get 3TB of 4G data worth Rs 4,000 for free with Vivo Y17.
The new smartphone will Funtouch OS 9 over the stock Android 9 Pie. It houses a 6.35-inch HD+ FullView Halo display with 720×1544 pixels resolution and 19.3:9 aspect ratio. It houses an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset clocking at 2.3GHz coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Interestingly, to compete with other gaming-oriented devices, Vivo has introduced Ultra Gaming Mode that intelligently allocate system resources to enhance gaming experience alongside Dual Turbo mode that reduces frame drops.
Vivo has invested some time in the camera department too. The smartphones sports a triple camera setup of a 13MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture, an 8MP Super Wide Angle camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front side features 20MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture and it comes with some extra features including portrait mode, palm capture, AI face beauty, and many more.
Another highlight of the device is the 5,000mAh battery that supports Dual Engine fast charging. With MediaTek chip on board, Vivo has been smart enough to introduce an Ultra Gaming Mode and 5,000mAh onboard.
