Back in October 2018, Vivo launched a mid-range beast named Vivo Z3i in China. The premium device was a wonderful offering by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer with some impressive on-paper specs including a 6.3-inch tall screen and 6GB RAM for multi-tasking ease. Now, the company has announced another variant of the device named Vivo Z3i Standard Edition in China itself with 24MP selfie camera.
Introducing the new Z3i Standard Edition in the hometown, Vivo has packed similar set of specifications as per the base version in the device. However, the company has kept the price lower than the previously available Lenovo Z3i device. The new version of the device is priced at 1,988 Yuan (around INR 20,690). Targeting the smartphone to an audience that likes to experiment with colors, the device is out in three color options including Dream Pink, Aurora Blue, and Starry Night.
Vivo Z3i Standard Edition Design and Display
The new smartphone carries a decent set of specs for the price point it’s coming for. Carrying Vivo 1813A/T as the model number, the new device measures 155.97 x 75.63 x 8.1mm in dimensions and weighs around 163.7 gm. The highlight of the device is a tall 6.3-inch IPS LCD panel coming with 1080 x 2280 pixels of screen resolution. The display not only makes high-resolution videos a pleasure to watch but also feels amazing while multi-tasking. The security is backed up by a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Vivo Z3i Standard Edition Camera and Other Specifications
Coming to the camera department, as per the reputation, Vivo never compromises with the photo quality and hence has provided a dual-camera setup of a 16MP primary lens with f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth capturer to complete the setup. The main highlight of the device is the 24MP selfie snapper that’s something different from the base version. The camera is particularly amazing as per the price range.
Other than that, the smartphone is power-driven by a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset, working alongside a huge 6GB RAM. Even after being a mid-range device, it offers a mammoth 128GB of internal storage and the user also gets the option of expanding it via microSD card. Vivo Z3i Standard Edition will run on Android 8.1 Oreo which might backfire on the company since the world is already introduced to the new Android 9.0 Pie by other smartphone manufacturers. However, there will be a skin of FunTouch OS 4.5 UI on the stock Android. The smartphone will feature a 3,315 mAh battery unit juicing up the device.
