LG is about to release a new high-end smartphone series and after some new leaks from the known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks), you won’t be surprised with LG G8 ThinQ design. The leaked images from Evan has shown every angle of the smartphone. LG is expected to release the new smartphone series later this month at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.

Triple Front Camera and 3.5mm Jack
The images are somewhat identical to the images released last month by XDA-developers about the similar device.
LG has not said anything about the leaked images nor the company has provided any details of the smartphone. However, the company did announce that it would sell a new smartphone named LG G8 ThinQ with a time-of-flight 3D depth camera to introduce an iPhone-like FaceID feature in the device for unlocking. As per the images released by Evan, the smartphone has a notch and that explains the equation of three-lens front-facing camera to pull off the 3D face-unlock feature in the device. If LG is taking the risk of introducing a notch in the era of hole-punch displays, then it might have something interesting in it.
According to the images, the device is a little from the last generation of smartphones and a noticeable headphone jack proves the point further. So, that’s a piece of good news for 3.5mm audio jack lovers.
Blass has been quite reliable with his smartphone picture leaks in the past but what actually give these latest drops more credibility is that they line up with previous renders. Last month, two of the well-known tech news sites @onleaks and @91mobiles made their own renders based on leaked CAD blueprints. And these images follow that design from renders to a wide extent.
At that time, the global comms head of LG Electronics Ken Hong said in a tweet that Onleaks images were only speculations, which is true technically. But since LG has planted fakes before too, the speculations might be spot on for teh G8 ThinQ. Moreover, Samsung is slated to announce the much-awaited Galaxy S10 lineup on February 20th and a little spotlight with leaks will help LG to compete with the popular Android flagship.
With the G-series on its way, tech experts are also expecting LG to release LG V50. News came with the fact that LG’s original flagship has been the V-series. Let’s wait and see how things turn out.
