For example, the Samsung Galaxy Fold was up for sale in South Korea which is its home market since early September. However, it is going to be available in the US later this week and after that, it will also be available in the UK. Having said that, the brand is reportedly working on its second Galaxy Fold model which will be available all across the world and that too in the affordable range. On the other hand, the selected Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available in the selected regions or countries as claimed by Sam mobile.

If you are not aware, Samsung Galaxy Fold mobile from Samsung is one of the most expensive mobiles which has been ever launched by the South Korean company. Not only this but also this is the only company to come up with a foldable display. Having said that there is no official announcement by Samsung as to how much the company will charge for the Samsung Galaxy smartphone. But the market estimates refer that the mobile will cost no less than Rs 1.5 lakh in India.

Samsung is going to launch its Galaxy Fold mobile on October 1 in India which is just after a month of its global debut in South Korea. Talking about the price, the mobile is likely to be charged between Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 1.75 lakh in India. This mobile phone will be sold all across the country in some selected retail stores. Not only this but it will also be available online and buyers can prebook it through pre-book mode as per the report shared by IANS. The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be coming with the exclusive access through specialized customer care services which include a 24/7 support hub online and over the phone as well as one to one access to Samsung experts.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold which is launched in South Korea on September 6 as well as in the US has finally its own release date which is September 27. The smartphone will be costing $1,980. So the people who will be buying Samsung Galaxy Fold in the US will be getting access to a Premier Service and also with no extra charges. This means that they will be able to call a Samsung expert who can offer tailored guidance as well as support via phone any time, anywhere. They will let the owners know the possible features in onboarding sessions which are designed for helping them get to grip with the new form factor as well as highlighting all the pertinent features. Samsung has also announced that it has worked hard on fixing all the issues related to the Samsung Galaxy Fold and finally it is going to re-launch this phone in September. According to a statement made by Samsung, the various number of twists has been made to the device. Having said that, Samsung has also reportedly extended its protective layer for its display to beyond bezel which will help the customers to know how to remove it. Not only this but it has also included more tweaks for protecting the hinge as well as the screen from the outer particles.

After getting the Samsung Galaxy Fold, some of the reviewers have found the display of the phone was partially damaged or completely broken just after the few days of usage. To this, the Samsung spokesman stated, “A limited number of early Galaxy Fold samples were provided to media for review. We have received a few reports regarding the main display on the samples provided. We will thoroughly inspect these units in person to determine the cause of the matter. Separately, a few reviewers reported having removed the top layer of the display causing damage to the screen. The main display on the Galaxy Fold features a top protective layer, which is part of the display structure designed to protect the screen from unintended scratches. Removing the protective layer or adding adhesives to the main display may cause damage. Display and Design

The Samsung Galaxy Fold is featured with the 4.6 inches of display for the phone mode and it folds out for revealing a separate 7.3-inch display on the inside. The fold is specifically designed for the users so that they can comfortably hold it when folded. It comes with AMOLED display with a 2152 * 1536 pixels of resolutions. On the other hand, the smaller one is featured with Super AMOLED 4.6 inch of the display.

The phone comes with 4 colour variants such as Cosmos Black, Martian Green, Space Silver, Astro Blue and the user can also choose a different colour for its spin.

The brand has also worked with Google as well as the Android developer community for tailoring various apps. The interior screen is large though which the users can perform multitasking functions.


The smartphone comes with  MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and FOV of 80 degrees. There are 3 lenses on the back. One of 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 12 MP of a zoom lens and 8 MP depth-sensing lens.

The cheaper Galaxy fold model will provide lesser RAM and will be coming with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. As per reports, it may come up with the same flagship processor. However, there is no official announcement from Samsung about the release of this model.
