Samsung’s mobile phones made waves in 2019, and Galaxy Note 10 Plus also won an award. So, 2020 is only destined to get better as we are heading towards 2020, leaks and predictions about everything from the Galaxy S11’s official lineup and price, to the camera setup and battery. Samsung Galaxy S11 will be the first of Samsung’s four 5G phones with the S10 5G, Note 10 Plus 5G, Galaxy A90 5G, and Fold (in the UK and South Korea) to help bring 5G’s faster data speeds to the masses.

There are rumors that the S11 will come up with a wide-angle 108MP camera and three larger screen sizes and a wonderful 120Hz display with 5G connectivity and a faster new Snapdragon 865 processor. You can also expect a 5000 maH extra-large battery in the Galaxy S11.

Rumors About Sizes:

By sources, it can be said that three models with three different sizes viz Galaxy S11, S11 Plus, S11 Pro will be launched. More recent whispers, including that from frequent Twitter leaker Evan Blass, suggest S11, S11 Plus and S11 Pro will be launched very soon in 2020.

Launching In February 2020?

February is a given, February 11 or 18 launch (later release dates) Samsung has unveiled its Galaxy S series in late February or early March for years, sometimes at the Mobile World Congress tech show (MWC), sometimes before or later than this.

5G guaranteed or a catch?

It is sure by sources that S11 will come with 5G, and there is also a rumor that Samsung will use the powerful Snapdragon 865 processor in it or Galaxy S11 can also use Samsung’s in-house Exynos 990 5G processor.

I said a catch, and here it is, whether Galaxy S11 will be 5G-ready or it comes with an update as every phone may not be able to access 5G. Cities and countries that are 4G-only will only be able to use 4G networks, so the 5G Galaxy S11 could very well act as a 4G phone.

108-megapixel camera, periscope lens, 5X optical zoom?

Samsung is said to be outfitting the Galaxy S11 with a 108-megapixel main camera sensor. It sounds like madness, but Xiaomi has already launched Mi CC9 Pro, which already uses a 108-megapixel camera. The Snapdragon 865 chip can support a 200-megapixel camera, and you may not be using all 108 pixels all the time, so you can come up with an extra resolution that will be helpful for zooming in and cropping.

Screen 120Hz AMOLED display?

S11 can have the ability to turn on a 120Hz screen refresh rate, so the animations and scrolling will be a whole lot smoother than the standard 60Hz refresh rate as we have now. 120Hz refresh rate is also great for gaming and other quick transitions.

Powerful 5,000mAh battery?

Another rumor is also coming that the Galaxy S11 “Plus” will have a battery of 5,000mAh, which is ridonculous. With this ultra-large battery, 5,000mAh, the gaming power is also boosted.

Screen Unlock

Galaxy S11 will come with a secure face unlock, combined with the in-screen reader. Samsung already knows how to do this well. We may also be able to see a more robust form of the in-screen biometric scanner.

Android 10 and Samsung One UI 2?

There is a rumor that every Samsung phone in 2020 will run on Android 10, but the company also owns One UI 2, which was announced in October, and now it is available in beta. Android 10 gives users a dark mode in phones, gesture navigation, live captioning, and new privacy settings while One UI 2 offers push icons and screen controls towards the bottom of the phone.

Galaxy S11 series will cost around more than $1,000. The prices are also dependent on the last version prices like the Galaxy S10 prices for the base storage configuration:

Galaxy S10E: $749, £669, AU$1,199

Galaxy S10: $899, £799, AU$1,349

Galaxy S10 Plus: $999, £899, AU$1,499

Galaxy S10 5G: $1,300, £1,099, AU$2,950

Samsung will offer to start storage at 128GB, and then you can also spend more for a model with greater storage like 512GB. It will not be a surprise if Samsung launches this camera tech, Powerful battery backup, 5g support, and 108 MP camera for $1,100.
