The South Korea based company has recently discovered a flaw in its topmost phone which is named as Samsung Galaxy S10 in its fingerprint system. As per the company, the fingerprint scanner is allowing the Samsung Galaxy S10 to be operated by a third party. However, the company has announced that they are working hard to fix this issue on Thursday. This ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner can literally be unlocked by any user as long as there is a screen protector contained in it or various other objects such as a piece of paper between the sensor as well as the plastic. A report says that a Samsung user from Britain has originally discovered this issue she saw that she could easily unlock her husband’s phone by simply adding a screen protector which was purchased from an online store. After reporting this issue to the Samsung the users said, “admitted it looked like a security breach”.  When a reporter asked a spokesman of Samsung, he said, “We are investigating this internally. We recommend all customers to use Samsung authorized accessories, specifically designed for Samsung products.”

They further said, “We encourage any customers with questions or who need support downloading the latest software to contact us directly at 1-800-SAMSUNG.” We all know that biometric scanning has earned lots of popularity for a few years as it offers more security as compared to the traditional passcodes. The new option for the Samsung Galaxy S10 as well as Note 10 which allows people in scanning their finger that is embedded in their screen rather than just placing them on a hardware sensor.
