2018 is about to end and Samsung is gearing up to make new year awesome with the launch of its next entry to Galaxy S series. Celebrating the decade anniversary of the series, Samsung will launch Galaxy S10 series of devices in early 2019. As expected before the launch, a couple of renders have surfaced the internet to clear the air about Infinity display usage. Both the renders released show two devices of the series, the Samsung Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+, with the Infinity-O Type display.

Notably, this is similar to the expected Samsung Galaxy A8’s display that will be launched next week. Furthermore, if these renders turn out to be true, the Galaxy S10 will only sport a single front camera whereas, the Galaxy S10+ will feature a dual-camera setup in front. There have been a bunch of other leaks flaunting protective films for the new Galaxy models.

Another tipster Ben Geskin shared a concept render to suggest that both the new devices will sport a true bezel-less edged display. Moreover, he also suggested that the selfie camera will sit on the hole available on the top right edge of both the devices. This will make it different than the upcoming A8 that is expected to feature a hole on the top left edge of the display.

He further suggested that while the Galaxy S10 will feature only one front lens, the Galaxy S10+ will have two selfie camera holes side-by-side for two lenses on the top right edge. A couple of photos came from IceUniverse with one of them uncovering some protective films for the bigger variant Galaxy S10+ and one showing the device in a working condition.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Tips From Previous Renders

OnLeaks collaborated with 91Mobiles earlier to share 5K renders and 360-degree video of the bigger Galaxy S10+ variant. The renders and video unearthed triple cameras at the back of the device while two cameras on the front.

However, the tipster now has modified its article suggesting that the device will feature a quad-camera setup at the back, not three. While front camera leaks remained unaltered, the rear camera setup saw an addition, that was further explained with a horizontal placement of the four cameras.

The flash module will sit at the end of the line and there will be no fingerprint sensor on the back. Another report has suggested that the new Samsung smartphone will likely feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy S10+ Expected Specifications

There are rumors and tips all over the internet about the new Samsung smartphone. One report suggested that Galaxy S10+ will feature a 6.4-inch QHD dual-curved edge AMOLED panel. The quad camera setup is expected to consist a telephoto lens, a wide-angle, and a standard lens, with fourth one still a mystery.

The Ice Blue variant from the renders suggests dimensions to be at 157.5×75.0x7.8mm with a 9mm camera bump. According to the reports, Galaxy S10+ will sport a better Face Unlock but there will be no iris scanning on the device. Furthermore, impressing the music lovers, the smartphone is expected to feature a 3.5mm audio jack, along with USB Type-C port and a loudspeaker at the bottom edge.

There have been previous leaks suggesting that Galaxy S10+ is likely to have Snapdragon 855 SoC in the US while it will be powered by Exynos 9820 SoC in other smartphone markets like India. The device is expected to have a 128GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage running on One UI based on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
