Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2019 event was held in New York at 1:30 am where they have given the first-look at the most awaited new pieces of hardware. Among the three pieces, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, as well as Galaxy Note 10 Plus, were the key attractions. Along with this Samsung also unveiled a new Windows laptop which they have named as Galaxy Book S,  smartwatch and a partnership with Microsoft.

The South Korean based tech giant has not only launched one but two Galaxy Note 10 devices. The Samsung Galaxy will be featured with 6.3-inches of the screen and for the first time, the users will be getting the experience of S-Pen which really a compact factor. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ will be having the screen size of 6.8-inches and the look of it is quite traditional as the Note family with the biggest Galaxy Note display so far.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 as well as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ will be sharing the same specifications whereas the size of the battery, the RAM as well as the display and the internal storage capacities are different. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is featured with a 2280 * 1080 pixels 401ppi display. On the other hand, Galaxy Note 10+  is having a 498ppi 3040 * 1440 pixels resolution display. Both the products are having Dynamic AMOLED panels which support HDR10+ as well as dynamic tone mapping.

But the users who will buy Galaxy Note 10+ will get the microSD card slot which supports for memory card having the storage capacity of up to 1TB. However, it is packed up to 12GB of RAM by default as well as 256GB and 512GB of built-in storage. As we already mentioned above, its 5G variant is available in Samsung’s home market.

Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 as well as Galaxy Note 10+ will available in various colors such as Aura Black, Aura Glow as well as Aura White. On the other hand, Samsung  Galaxy Note 10 features around 3,500mAh battery and is available in two color options such as Red and Pink. Galaxy Note 10+ sports 4,300mAh battery and is available in blue color. After seeing the color options of Note 10 and Note 10+, people see to be very happy.

Specifications

The rumors of Galaxy Note 10 were true as there is no headphone jack available on both the notes. As per the connectivity is concerned it include Wi-Fi 802. 11ax which supports VHT80 MU-MIMO and 1024QAM. This will enable theoretical upload and download speeds of up to 1.2bps; LTE with 2Gbps download speed; Bluetooth v5; USB Type-C; NFC and GPS, Galileo, Glonass and BeiDou.

As per the cameras are concerned Blackard said, “We are taking pro-grade photography tools f the Note and bringing it to the video which includes real-time bokeh effects for video and an audio zoom feature that brings sounds into focus as you zoom in.”

The phone is featured with a triple camera set up with 12-megapixels as well as a wide-angle lens with a 12-MP sensor with a variable aperture. There is also an ultrawide lens with a 123-degree field of view paired with a16MP f/2.2 sensor which gives stabilized video.

S Pen Features

Now coming to the S Pen which was another headline of the event. It will make the shortcut to the Note 10 users. By pressing and holding the button of S Pen and moving the stylus, the users can operate the phone. They can scroll up and down in the camera app to switch on the camera. The brand is also going to the third-party developers. This means that the developers are going to integrate the functionality into their apps. Samsung also made easier for the users to convert the text into pdf and export them through the S Pen. Having said that the S Pen has a standby time of 10 hours.

Samsung Galaxy Book S

The brand also unpacked the Galaxy Book S. The brand gave surprise to the audience by introducing Satya Nadella who spent recapping what the Samsung/ Microsoft partnership means and how Windows and Galaxy device will get connected in the future. Anjum said the laptop will be 13.3-inches slim and has LTE capabilities, charges through Type-C. It is packed with a Snapdragon CPU. The battery life of the Galaxy Book S is good and will last up to 23 hours. The laptop will be available in the market in September.

Galaxy Watch Active 2

The event doe not ends here, Hasan Anjum also introduced the Galaxy Watch Active 2. It is a digital rotating watch and is also compatible with the smaller wrists. The watch looks quite fancy under Armour edition and price of the Galaxy smartwatch starts at $279 and will be launched on 13th September.
