It is a known fact that Samsung Galaxy devices have a loyal following that expects a lot from the South Korean giant on the second half of the year. This year, Samsung is trying something it tried a long time ago. Unlike in recent years, the smartphone company is planning to release two Note models this year as it did with Note 4 and Note Edge a long time ago.

According to 91Mobiles, some “trusted sources” have confirmed that two Note devices with names Note10 and Note10 Pro and model numbers SM-N975 and SM-N976 respectively will be releasing this year. Previous rumors were revolving around these model numbers were suggesting a single model with 4G and 5G variants respectively.

Same Battery Without 45W Charger

The 91Mobiles report cited that Galaxy Note10 will flaunt a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display that always tends to impress everyone in the smartphone world. Note10 is also reported to have 128GB as the base storage onboard alongside a 4,170 mAh battery. On the other hand, the Note10 Pro is cited to feature a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with similar 4,170 mAh battery but bigger storage options reportedly starting from 256GB and going up to 1TB.

If this turns out true, as most of the 91Mobile reports do, the customers will be left wondering why to buy a bigger screen size with a similar battery as they can get more power on the smaller model.

However, these were not the only model numbers revealed. Reports suggested that two other model numbers SM-N970 and SM-N971 came across from sources. However, there is no mention of what they represent.

Yesterday, news also came that Note10 Pro will not support a 45W charger tearing down the initial rumors. People were expecting Samsung to put 45W charger with the new generation Note devices. However, some reports suggested that a 25W charger will be shipped. While this cannot be considered a great move, it is good enough since Samsung has been shipping a 15W adaptive chargers since 2014’s Galaxy Note 4.

Under the hood, the Note10 Pro is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9825. Some sites reported that a triple camera system as the back is possibly coming on board with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Rumors also pointed a hole-punch display, what Samsung calls an Infinity-O screen. The 3.5mm headphone jack is probably getting ditched as the new device is rumored to be announced sometime in August (reportedly August 10).
