According to a report, Samsung will soon refresh the Galaxy M-series of smartphones after kicking off to the upgrade cycle for the Galaxy A-series earlier, starting with the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 phones. The Galaxy M-series was launched last year by Samsung, and all those phones that are being introduced now in this year, in the new series, are likely to see successors. There is a recent report that brings a bunch of details about the Samsung Galaxy M21, which is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy M20. The phone is reported to come having more storage options, running on the Android 10 out of the box, and also including the triple rear camera setup. This report also indicates the color options of other phones of the M-series like the Samsung Galaxy M11 and the Samsung Galaxy M31 that we will discuss later.
Samsung Galaxy M21 will be having specifications (expected). According to a report by the Sammobile, Samsung Galaxy M21 will be launched with the model number SM-M215F. The report also signifies that the upcoming phone will come with storage options of 64GB and 128GB that is a considerable increase from the 32GB and 64GB options given in the Galaxy M20. The Samsung Galaxy M21 is likely to be run on Android 10 out of the box and will be powered by the Exynos 9610 or Exynos 9611 SoC. As we already mentioned, the phone is expected to come with a triple camera setup at the back, and the Galaxy M21 is also tipped to come in blue, black, and green colour options.
As per that new report, Samsung has started the development of successors for the Galaxy M10 and also Galaxy M30 that will soon arrive as the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31. As of now, we can’t say any word on the design and specifications on the two upcoming phones, but it can be easily assumed that the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31 will most likely arrive further in the year 2020.
According to the report given by the SamMobile, the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M31 are currently in the early phases of development, which means that details about their hardware and design are limited at the moment. The Galaxy M11 is said to be having the 32GB of internal storage, while the Galaxy M31 will be having the double internal storage capacity to 64GB. But the Galaxy M10 and the Galaxy M30 are not the only Galaxy M-series that are lined up for a refresh the year 2020.
This report also states that the lower-end Samsung Galaxy M11 will come in blue, black, and violet colour options, while the more premium Samsung Galaxy M31 is expected in blue, black, and red colour options. It could be possible that there will be more colors added near to the launch date. In the previous leaks about the phone told us that the Samsung Galaxy M11 is expected to pack 32GB of internal storage, while the Galaxy M31 will have double at 64GB. The Samsung Galaxy M31 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC and carry a triple rear camera setup as well.
Samsung is reportedly planning to launch successors of the Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M40 as well, both of which will see the light of the day as Galaxy M21 and Galaxy M41. The Galaxy M21 is said to draw power from the in-house Exynos 9609 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Furthermore, the phone’s dual-camera setup will include a 24-megapixel primary camera accompanied by a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
