Finally, the South Korean tech giant has formally launched Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A10 in India. Among all the budget & mid-range devices currently making way into the market, Samsung made their own effort with Super AMOLED displays and their own One UI over the Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Samsung released Galaxy A50 as well as A30 previously this week at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. However, alongside these two mid-range devices, Samsung took the opportunity to reveal a budget option in the family touted as Galaxy A10. So, with increasing competition in the entry-level and mid-range segments, let’s see how the likes of Vivo, Oppo, and most importantly Xiaomi perform against Samsung.
Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A10 price in India
The top model among three, Samsung Galaxy A50, will be priced at Rs. 19,990 for the 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage variant and Rs. 22,990 for 6GB RAM plus 64GB storage configuration. It will be available in three color variants including Black, White, and Blue. Moreover, Galaxy A30 will be priced at Rs 16,990 for the only model and Galaxy A10 will be available at Rs 8,490. Both the devices will be priced at Black, Blue, and Red.
The two mid-range smartphones, Galaxy A50, and Galaxy A30 will start selling from March 2 in India whereas the budget device Galaxy A10 will go on sale starting March 20.

Some features come common in all three devices. Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A10 will run One UI on top of Android 9 Pie out of the box. Users will get preloaded shooting modes including Slow-Mo, Hyperlapse, and Ultra-Wide in the imaging departments.
Samsung Galaxy A50 Specifications
The new Samsung Galaxy A50 features 91.6% screen-to-body ratio on a 6.4-inch Infinity-U super AMOLED full-HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, the device will get an octa-core Exynos 9610 chipset coupled with two RAM options including 4GB and 6GB.
The imaging department of the Galaxy A50 will be handled by a triple camera setup at the rear end including a 25MP auto-douc f/1.7 sensor, a 5MP fixed-focus f/2.2 lens, and an 8MP fixed-focus f/2.2 lens. Moreover, the front end of the device will be handled by a 25MP fixed-focus selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture. It will come preloaded with Samsung Intelligent Scene Optimiser claimed to adjust contrast, color, and brightness after you categorize the subject.
The smartphone will come with 64GB onboard and will be getting power from a 4,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. You can also expand the device memory up to 512GB through a microSD card. Impressively, there will be an in-display fingerprint sensor packed in the device and it will have USB Type-C connectivity.
Samsung Galaxy A30 Specifications
Similar to Galaxy A50, Samsung Galaxy A30 also features a full HD+ 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with 1080×2340 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, you will get an octa-core Exynos 7904 chipset alongside 4GB RAM. The smartphone will have 64GB of internal storage whereas you can expand 512GB through microSD card.
In the imaging department, Galaxy A30 will have a dual camera setup comprising of the 16MP lens with f/1.7 and a 5MP lens with f/2.2. The front-end of the device holds a 16MP fixed-focus lens with f/2.0 aperture. Galaxy A30 also packs 4,000mAh battery with support to 15W fast charging via USB Type-C port.
Samsung Galaxy A10 Specifications
Samsung Galaxy A10 differs in display than the other two devices with a 6.2-inch Infinity-V HD+ display with 720×1520 pixels of resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 7884 chipset along with 2GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage onboard.
There is a single 13MP camera at the rear-end of the low-budget device that comes with an f/1.9 aperture. Furthermore, the smartphone will have a 5MP camera with an f/2.0 lens for selfies. Samsung Galaxy A10 will have a 3,400mAh battery.
