Samsung recently announced their new smartphone with high-end specifications in Malaysia the previous day. Samsung Galaxy A9 is the first smartphone to support a quad camera setup at its back. Samsung launched their much-awaited Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with a long and wide display of 6.3-inch. This beautiful phone has a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display along with a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels.  It shows a 3D glass curved back and is available in three different color options- Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue, and Bubblegum Pink. It has total size measurements of 162.5 x 77 x 7.8 mm and weighs 183g. This display is known to the infinity display.

This smartphone is said to be delivering 4x fun as it is powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) camera software. The Samsung Galaxy A9 is enriched with a quad camera setup on the back comprising of a 24MP primary sensor with OIS and an aperture of f/1.7 that works with pixel merging technology for getting the best images in both day and night. Also, the second lens has a 120-degree ultra-wide camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, paired with a 2x zoom telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.4 as well as a separate depth camera lens which has 5MP depth sensor and an aperture of f/2.2. On the front end, it displays a 24MP front camera with an aperture of f/1.7 for taking high-quality selfies. As all the cameras that are set on the phone are backed by the Samsung’s own AI camera software which has a dubbed intelligent camera feature, the shots taken by the phone are wider, clearer and advanced.

Samsung has planned to launch Samsung Galaxy A9 in two editions. Samsung Galaxy A9 will have mainly two RAM/internal storage variants – 6GB RAM/128GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM/128GB of internal storage. Samsung has kept in mind the expanding of the storage which can be done up to 512GB via a microSD card.  It has also been stated by Samsung that the 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage phone will only be made available in select countries and others will enjoy the 6GB RAM memory. Moreover, the phone has advanced long-lasting battery support of a 3,800mAh that powers the phone and makes it highly durable.

Samsung has developed Samsung Galaxy A9 comes with a magnificent support for 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0 for internet connectivity and sharing. These are loaded with high speeds up to 2Mbps, NFC, GPS, BeiDou and GLONASS. There are a range of sensors included in the smartphone namely RGB light sensor, fingerprint sensor, hall sensor, proximity sensor, gyro sensor, a geomagnetic sensor, and an accelerometer. It also supports Samsung Pay via NFC.

Samsung has launched Samsung Galaxy A9 to run Android 8.0 Oreo android software for a powerful device functionality. Also, the phone is powered by an octa-core processor to enhance the capabilities of the smartphone manifolds.

Samsung CEO DJ Koh has decided to start shipping globally from November also, the smartphones shall be available to all the people at a price of MR 1299 which is approximately Rs. 23, 200 in India.
