If you thought Realme 3 Pro was the company’s flagship device this year, you were wrong as the company launched Realme X. We know that Realme 3 Pro is already a great device at the price segment it competes in but taking all the good features from there are adding some more features, the former Oppo subsidiary just launched the Realme X and Realme X Lite. So below we will have a look at the prices and specifications of these smartphones.
Realme X and X Lite Prices
The fact that the company is providing these in a similar price range will definitely help Realme to have some extra market share. Launched in China, the Realme X starts at CNY 1,499 that roughly translates to Rs. 15,400 for the base variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Whereas the 6GB RAM plus 64GB storage variant and 8GB RAM plus 128GB storage model will be sold at CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 16,400) and CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 18,500) respectively.
The Realme X will be available in Blue and White colors with gradient finish at the back. The smartphone will be offered in a special Naoto Fukasawa edition with 8GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. This is priced slightly more at CNY 1,899 which roughly means Rs. 19,500.
Realme X Lite was also released in China alongside with Realme X starting at CNY 1,199 which is Rs. 12,300 roughly for the base variant of 4GB RAM and 64GB. There are two other variants including a 6GB RAM plus 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM plus 128GB ROM priced at CNY 1,299 (Rs. 13,300 approx.) and CNY 1,499 (Rs. 15,400 approx.) respectively. Interestingly, opposing the speculations, Realme 3 Pro is actually the Indian variant of Realme X Lite that here starts at Rs 13,999.
Talking about the Indian launch of Realme X, the CEO of the smartphone manufacturer Madhav Sheth revealed that it will be coming to the country soon. There is no exact date available for now.
Realme X Specifications
The Android 9 Pie-based Realme X has ColorOS 6.0 over the stock android. The smartphone features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ AMOLED screen with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It supports a 91.2 percent screen-to-body ratio on its Gorilla Glass 5 protected display, thanks to the pop-up selfie camera. The smartphones is power-driven by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with up to 8GB of RAM.
The imaging department houses a dual camera setup on the rear end that includes a 4MP primary sensor with an f/1.7 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. The front of the devices houses the popular pop-up module with a 16MP selfie snapper on it.
The device gets the power from a 3,765mAh battery that supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Realme X Lite Specifications
Realme X has a spec-sheet similar to Realme 3 Pro which consists of a 6.3-inch full-HD+ IPS display with 1080×2340 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It has octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM.
Interestingly, there is a dual camera setup on the Realme X Lite too with a 16MP primary f/1.7 aperture lens and a 5MP secondary f/2.4 aperture lens. On the front, the phone packs a 25-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.
