Mi TV 4X

Finally, Xiaomi has hosted its Smarter Living 2020 event in India Today. During the event, its multiple products at one go in the country. Coming to the TV range of Mi, it has expected its TV range in India by introducing four new models at the launch event held in Bengaluru on Tuesday. The new range includes the Mi TV 4X 65 inches, Mi TV 4A 43-inches, Mi TV 4X 50 inches as well as the Mi TV 4A 40 inches. Not only this but also the brand has upgraded its PitchWall along with Netflix support. All the TVs are launched in the black variant.

The Mi TV 4X of 65 inches comes with the starting price of Rs 54,999. Very soon, the TV will go on sale on Flipkart as well as Mi.com. On the other hand, the starting price of the Mi TV 4X 43 inches is Rs 24,999, as well as the price of the Mi TV 4A 40 inches, is of Rs 17,999.

The starting price of the Mi TV 4X 50 inches in India Rs 29,999. Having said that, it will be available on Amazon as well as Mi.com. All the three models will be available on the sale starting midnight September 29 except Mi TV 4X 65 inches model which will be available for preorder from September 29.

Specifications

The new TV from Mi comes as a flagship Mi TV model along with a premium metal build as well as 0.43 inches bezels. The Mi TV 65 inches comes with Xiaomi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine (VPE). This will provide the perfect brightness, colour, saturation and contrast to the picture. The TV is also featured with an Ultra-Bright display which is claimed to be the brightest panel the company has ever delivered. Along with this, the is a wide colour gamut which is about 88 per cent of the NTSC colour space.

The brand has also included a Reality Flow Engine along with with the Mi TV 4X 65 inches model.
Mi TV India Product Manager, Sudeep Sahu, said, “Most of the content that you get from your set-top box comes in 24 frames per second, but the Mi TV has a 60Hz panel. Now the Reality Flow Engine will analyze all of these frames in real-time and insert frames in between to interpolate to 60Hz.”
It also comes with various level for adjusting the smoothness of the content which is featured on the Mi TV  4X 65 inches for getting a personalized experience.

Coming back to the specifications, the Mi TV 4X 65 inches is featured with a 4K UHD 10-bit display which supports HDR10 and it is powered by a quad-core Cortex A55 SoC.
The TV is also featured with a four-driver speaker system that again has tow dedicated woofers and two tweeters for producing 20W audio. Furthermore, there are Dolby Audio support and DTS-HD support as well.

Mi TV 4X 65 inches runs PatchWall 2.0 based on Android Pie backed Android TV. The custom skin of the TV is backed with a list of OTT apps which include Netflix as well as Amazon Prime Video. Not only this but the brand new PatchWall version comes with a Light Theme and a carousel view. It also comes with a Live News integration for delivering real-time news updates on one screen.
On the other hand, Mi TV 4X 43-inch, as well as Mi TV 4X 50 inches models, are featured with 4K HDR 10-bit  display, PatchWall and 20W speakers. Both the TV support DTS-HD and Dolby Audio support.

Mi Soundbar Black

Apart from the Mi smart TV models, the brand has also unveiled the black variants of Mi Soundbar. The price of the Mi Soundbar is listed at Rs 4,999. The updated version of the soundbar provides eight-speaker cinematic sound experience along with Aux, BlueTooth, optical cable as well as S/PDIF connectivity which we have seen in its previous model last year.

Mi Smart Band 4

During the Smarter Living 2020 event of Xiaomi, it has also launched Mi Band 4 which is the successor of Mi Band 3. Xiaomi has launched this brand with the starting price of Rs 2,999. The band will be available in India on September 19. The Mi Smart Band 4 will be available in all the eCommerce stores such as Mi Home store, Mi.com as well as Amazon.in. You will be getting five colour variants. Not only this but also the brand has said that through the latest Android TV version, the users will be able to control the soundbar using their Mi TV remote.

Specifications

The Mi Smart Band 4 comes with a rubber band which is similar to Mi Band 3. But as per the size, it is much bigger and is also featured with a coloured OLED display. For the very first time, Xiaomi has used coloured display in its band. As per the battery is concerned, Mi Band 4 will be delivering 20 days of battery life with just a single charge. Not only this but it also comes with 0.95 inches of AMOLED colour touch-enabled screen which will be offering a resolution of 240 * 120p. The screen is protected with a 2.5D curved glass which is placed on the top. When connected to the mobile, it will show various notification such as SMSes, WhatsApp messages, Facebook notification and fitness details. The Mi Smart Band 4 will help the users in controlling the music playback. Along with this it also displays heart rate and various other tracking features such as jogging, cycling, running and other physical activities. This smart band is further upgraded with a six-axis sensor which helps in detecting different swimming activities such as Backstroke, Freestyle, Medley as well as Butterfly stroke.

Xiaomi Mi Motion Activated Night Light 2

Xiaomi has launched Mi Motion Activated Night Light 2 on the same event in Bengaluru. As the name suggests, the device completely aims in turning your home into a smart home. It is capable enough in detecting the human motion and light it up. There are two different levels of 360-degree rotation, brightness as well as magnetic structure. The device operates with the help of three AA batteries. The price of the Xiaomi Mi Motion Activated Night Light is Rs 599. The brand claims that the device lights up in the dimly lit environment when any kind of human motion is detected. After 15 seconds, it switches off automatically. It comes with the dual brightness modes and furthermore relies on a 2800K war yellow light which is specifically made for the bedroom, passages, closet as well as a stairway.

Mi Smart Water Purifier

Xiaomi also introduces a new product which is non-other than Mi Smart Water Purifier in Smarter Living 2020 Event. The brand has launched this product with the starting price of Rs 11,999. One of the key highlights of this product is that it is a smart water purifier which is very rarely found in the Indian market as of now. This smart water purifier from Mi can be monitored as well as controlled with the help of Mi Home application which can easily be downloaded from the PlayStore.

With the help of this app, the users can have a check on the level of the water tank, TDS level of the water as well as the life of each filter in real-time. The most interesting feature of this product is that the users will be able to replace their filters by themselves. As per Xiaomi, “India’s first smart water purifier with DIY filter replacement.” Xiaomi also claims that users can replace old filters with the new one in just 30 seconds. They said, “allow users to be bound by any kind of fixed annual maintenance.”

This water purifier from Xiaomi is featured with three filters. Instep one +tw the PP + Activated Carbon filter intercepts large and visible particles with residual chlorine, odour and colour. In the third step, the RO filter filters out heavy metals, scales as well as organic matter with the filtration precision of 0.0001 microns. In the fourth step, the PAC filter absorbs the left out organic substances and odour which ultimately improves the taste and quality of water. Finally, the in-tank UV light kills out all the bacteria and viruses with up to 99.99 per cent efficiency. The product will be available in India from September 29. It will be up for sale on Flipkart as well as Mi Home stores.
