The history of smartphones has witnessed an unexpected revolution in itself. Over a decade ago, we had phones that required three to four taps to type a single alphabet on the screen. Times changed and now we are here with smartphone companies pushing limits in the screen to body ratio. However, we can see how manufacturers try to stand out in the heavily crowded smartphone making industry with an attempt to fuse the old designs with newer ones.
Lenovo Z5 Pro is one such example that brings back slider mechanism in a new way. We have witnessed the slider camera before in the of Oppo Find X, Vivo NEX, and Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The recent entry to this out of the edge design was Honor Magic 2. What makes the smartphone different from these giants? Let’s roll down to the spec sheet of this device and find out.
Lenovo Z5 Pro Design
Lenovo Z5 Pro adopts the old slider design in a new way to get over the trendy display notch. The Chinese tech giant claimed that Z5 Pro offers a 95.06 percent of screen-to-body ratio and the slider has been tested around 300,000 times for uninterrupted functionality. There is an in-display sensor included to keep it in the race with recently launched smartphones with similar features. Moreover, there is a dual-camera setup, included one infrared lens to support the facial recognition.
The Lenovo phone accounts slimmer bezels around but its chin is slightly on the thicker end from the other three sides. Lenovo claims that the phone uses a photoelectric fingerprint sensor of the fifth generation to give a never before unlocking speed to users with perfection in accuracy.
