The China-based company has launched Lenovo ThinkBook 14 as well as ThinkBook 15 in India on Tuesday. As we all know that Lenovo’s presence in India is not that great after the acquisition of Motorola. Having said that when it comes to the laptop or computers, the case is quite different here. In India, the company claims to get the first position in the Indian PC market along with 37.7 per cent of market share as well as a 62.6 per cent share in the commercial notebook market from the first quarter of the year 2019. After getting so much of success the company has decided to extend this lead by launching Lenovo ThinkBook 14 as well a Lenovo ThinkBook 15 laptops which specifically will be targetting medium to small scale business enterprises who are planning to provide these to its employees. The SMP Notebook portfolio from Lenovo in India starts off with V series 14 as well as 15.6 laptops. If we talk about the premium segment, the ThinkPad series comes with various sizes as well as variations The main reason behind targetting SMBs is that the newly launched laptop will really be useful for young employees rather than the older and heavier ones. Both of these laptops come with the sharp, clean and at the same time detailed design which makes them perfect for the office environments. The new wave of young business leaders expects their workplace devices to do more but with a minimalist look. ThinkBook is a perfect fit to fill this existing product gap in the SMB marketplace.”
The Lenovo ThinkBook 14, as well as ThinkBook 15, will hit the market in the first week of December with a starting price of Rs 30,990. But the price may vary if you want to maximize the features.
Lenovo ThinkBook 14
Lenovo ThinkBook 14 is featured with anodized aluminium top as well as the A and D cover whereas C cover comes with a brushed metal finish on the shell. You will be getting the notebook depending on the configuration you have selected along with Integrated Intel UHD graphics and with AMD Radeon 625 discrete graphics with 2GB DDRS VRAM. As per the memory of the laptop is concerned, the device can maximize up to 24GB DDR4 2667MHz RAM. ThinkBook 14 will also be supporting a hybrid storage configuration of 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD alongside 2TB 5400rpm HDD. However, you can also go for lower SSD variant and then upgrade it for future usage. Apart from this, the device is also featured with a 720p HD camera in combination with a physical switch which can cover up the camera. Additionally, the laptop also sports a hidden USB 2.0 Type-A port which is suitable for using a BlueTooth adapter. There are various other configurations which include an option between 45W as well as 57W battery, and an option between a rectangular tip 65W AC adapter and a 65W Type C adapter. You can also upgrade the power button with a fingerprint reader.
Lenovo ThinkBook 15
Lenovo ThinkBook 15 comes with 15.6 inches of Full HD IPS display which is powered by up to 10th Gen Intel Core i7 SoC along with with AMD Radeon 620 graphics. Apart from this, it has a larger footprint and you will be getting a bigger keyboard along with a dedicated Number Pad. The brand here claims that the device is easy to open. The users do not have to remove the rubber stands on the device because there is no hidden screw underneath. Both of these new models will be offering international warranty and support for up to 5 years beyond hardware.
