Hyped from quite some time, the Honor Band 4 is reportedly going on sale on December 24 in India as an Amazon India exclusive. Official launch dates are still not available but a slip up from Amazon customer support has revealed the information. The Huawei-owned brand is reportedly eyeing to release the successor to Honor Band 3 this holiday season. The Honor Band 3 is currently available in India at Rs 2,499. The wearable has a decent performance with mostly positive reviews and Honor users will be eagerly waiting for the next release of the series.

The leaks about the launch date were reported to be MySmartPrice. The price comparing site was able to get a screenshot of customer support chat with Amazon India where support representative mentioned the launch date of the Band 4. The executive said that the fitness band will go live on their website exclusively on December 24. However, the executive denied any information about the price of the device. The Honor Band 4 currently have an active product page on Amazon India with ‘Notify Me’ button active and all the features listed down under. There are speculations that the wearable will be priced at Rs 3000.

Honor Band 4 Features and Specs

Knocking down a good set of specs and features, the Honor Band 4 features a 0.95-inch AMOLED color touchscreen with 2.5D curved glass. The front display is scratch resistant and following the Honor fitness band traditions, the upcoming wearable is also equipped with a monochrome display. If we talk about the design front, the Band 4 shares similar approach and ideology to the predecessor Honor Band 3. The fitness band has 43 x 17.2 x 11.5mm measurement and 23g of weight making it a comfortable wear.

The device will be able to track a number of physical activities including, but not limited, outdoor running, swimming, free training, and indoor cycling. One of the most common features among fitness trackers that Honor Band 4 also boasts is the smartphone notification you can receive on the device. Honor Band 4 supports both Bluetooth v4.2 and NFC on the go and packs 100mAh of power that promises to last 6 days on a single charge.

Apart from the regular smart band features, Honor is introducing two new features named TruSeen 3.0 and TruSleep monitoring. The first one, TruSeen 3.0 technology, monitors your heart rate during walking, cycling, and running. The other one, TruSleep, as the name suggests, tracks your sleep and identifies different sleep issues such as Insomnia. Over that, it also gives you tips and advice to improve sleep quality. The fitness band is water resistant to up to 50 meters water. The Honor Band 4 will go on sale in three color options including Black, Blue, and Pink.
