It has been over four months since Google Pixel 3a and 3a XL are taking rounds of the internet virtually. Reportedly the better versions of Google Pixel 3 series, these two smartphones are still accounting for leaks.
A recently leaked teaser poster on Google’s own website quoted that “on May 7, something big is coming to the Pixel universe”. This also concluded the first day of Google I/O conference. Reportedly, this was not the only thing appeared on the poster further quoting “help is on the way” and “the power is in your hands”.
This teaser was found on Google the famous tipster and 9to5Google editor Stephen Hall tweeted that Pixel 3a will be hitting the stores starting May 7.
However, experts are also saying that the teaser looks more of an Avengers: Endgame promotion and less of a smartphone release teaser. Notably, only “Pixel Universe” written on the promotion posters, hints that there are devices coming to the Pixel team.
It is clear that Google is trying to hit a more affordable segment of the smartphone market. However, we are yet to have any kind of details from the officials of the search engine giant.
There has been a recent leak from Phandroid that showed the cost of the Pixel 3a and 3a XL in Canadian dollars – $649.99 and $799.99 respectively.
The above amount translates to roughly $500 / £380 / AU$700 for the Pixel 3a and $600 / £460 / AU$840 for the Pixel 3a XL. However, there has been an earlier leak that listed the Pixel 3a to be $420 / £320 / AU$590.
