Rumors about Google’s budget version of the Pixel device, the Google Pixel 3 Lite has been taking rounds of the internet for quite some time now. A Russian blog named Rozetked unearthed a supposed device along with photo samples and details last month claiming it to be the upcoming Google Pixel 3 Lite.

Now, 91Mobiles and OnLeaks have come together to give the world a look of the new Google device that rumored to be called Pixel 3 Lite XL. As per the name, this will be a bigger version of Pixel 3 Lite with a 6-inch Full HD+ display as compared to the rumored 5.5-inch Full HD+ panel of Pixel 3 Lite. Fortunately, Google has listened to the people and according to these reports, none of the two will feature a notch as ridiculous as Pixel 3 XL. The devices instead have opted for bezels according to these leaks.

The Rumored Design of Pixel 3 XL Lite

If the reports are to be believed, the XL Lite will be different from the main top-end Pixel 3, sporting a polycarbonate rear finish instead of glass. That’s not all. Google has decided to cut down many features in order to make it competitive in the budget flagship segment. The 3.5mm jack, that was highly appreciated on the Pixel 3 and 3 Xl will go missing on the lite variant.

So now, you will only have the option of using a Bluetooth headphone or USB Type-C headphones. Moreover, the budget devices coming from Google also lack the dual front-facing rockers as the doubles have converted into a single front speaker. Another major difference that we might see will come to the selfie camera department. Unlike Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, these new devices will not feature a dual-camera setup in front.

Google Pixel 3 Lite Previous Rumors

There haven’t been any details about Pixel XL Lite specs and we might have to wait for the official announcements and launch. However, Rozetked gave details about the base version Google Pixel Lite last month. According to the blogging site, the standard model will be power-driven by Snapdragon 670 chipset along with a 4GB RAM and at least 32GB of storage. There are also rumors about a 12MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie snapper. Though Google is known for offering usually bigger batteries than other competitors, Rozetked said it would only get 2,915mAh.

Notably, Rozetked is the same tipster that leaked Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL photos previously this year and the news later turned out true. So it is hard to doubt the reports.
