Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and the ZenFone Max M2 are launched in India after its last week launch in Russia. It was a formal event in New Delhi today, where the company officially released the devices in India. Asus offered live streaming of the event where got the updates of all the spec details for Indian models, prices in the Indian market, and the shipping dates.

Both ZenFone Max Pro M2 and the ZenFone Max M2 are successors to ZenFone Max Pro M1 and ZenFone Max M1 respectively. The Asus devices are known for maintaining the bigger battery and decent spec sheets at budget-friendly prices. The new devices sport a 19:9 aspect ratio on their display panels with display notches.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2 Price

The devices were expected to get somewhat similar prices as of Russian releases. Talking about Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2, it is made available at RUB 17,990 (around Rs 19,500 INR) in lone Blue color. On the other hand, ZenFone Max M2 is available in Black color at RUB 12,900 in Russia (that’s around 14,000 INR).

Following the similar prices, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 starts at Rs. 12,999 for base 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant, and Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant. On the other hand, ZenFone Max M2 starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 Specifications

The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will feature a 6.26-inch full-HD+ display. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC along with three storage variants including

3GB RAM / 32GB Storage, 4GB RAM / 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM / 64GB storage. The smartphone will be shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo and only three preloaded apps including Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. The biggest highlight of the device is the 5000 mAh battery. There is a dual rear camera setup that has a 12-megapixel primary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. The front side holds a 13MP selfie camera with front LED flash. The company has promised customers that an update later in the month will also enable AI scene detection. The device supports face-unlock and there is a fingerprint sensor available with the device too.

The Asus Zenfone Max M2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset with two variants in the market including one with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and another one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The ZenFone Max M2 sports a 6.26-inch HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It also features a dual rear camera setup including a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. There is an 8MP selfie camera with an LED front flash. This smartphone has a lower 4000mAh battery with a micro-USB port and headphone jack. This device also has a rear fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.
