We have been witnessing some great designs and performances from the new entries in the laptop segment and what has been an instant curve in the market is touch-laptops. Apple MacBooks have a different reputation for performance as well as design. Only the flagship Windows-powered devices have been standing out in front of the premium line of MacBooks. Here we have two old performers from HP and Apple that still have their own admirers for different reasons.
The Design and Display
Apple MacBook Air is thin as air. However, HP Spectre X360 15 doesn’t disappoint you anywhere. The perfection in design is flaunted by both devices. With beautiful 4K touchscreen along with a perfect stylus, HP x360 15 is one of the best 2-in-1 laptops out there. Apple MacBook Air could have been one up with a bezel-less display but centralizing more on a fast storage and performance, Apple has held the design back.
The Apple laptop has a display of 13.3-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display with a resolution of 1440×900 pixel where the crisp graphics are held together by Intel HD Graphics 6000. On the other hand, we have a 15.6-inch 4K UHD touchscreen with 3,840 x 2,160 pixels held together with a Nvidia GeForce MX 150 and Intel UHD Graphics 620.
Despite the fact that MacBook Air is quite portable, the design and display of HP x360 15 are way ahead.

Winner- HP Spectre X360 15
There is no doubt that HP Spectre X360 15 is a better laptop but then again, it is $400 costlier than Apple MacBook Air. While you can buy
Apple MacBook Air at a starting price of $999, you have to spend $1,399 in the US market. Buy HP Spectre X360 15 if you can afford it because it is a better device but don’t count Apple MacBook Air out if you have a low budget but want a nicely performing machine.
