According to Tianfeng financial analyst Guo Mingxuan the iPhone 9 successor, the iPhone 10, will accompany a side-mounted fingerprint sensor when it’s launched within the half of 2021.
The iPhone 9, which is predicted to launch in March, is probably going to return with a 4.7-inch display that’s including an iPhone 8-like design. The phone is predicted to ditch the Face ID in favour of the fingerprint scanner that’s housed inside the phone’s home button. The new report says that while Apple will stick with a 4.7-inch display, it’ll move the fingerprint sensor to the side, which successively would give more screen space to the users.
