The former-Oppo owned company, Realme, has been quite impressive with its budget devices previously. Realme 1, Realme 2, and now Realme 3 caught eyes everywhere. But here we have a device which is eyeing to take the whole budget game with itself and dethrone the king- Redmi Note 7 Pro. The much-awaited Realme 3 Pro will be launched in India on April 22 in an event at Delhi University. This is the one level up from the last year’s Realme 2 Pro.
- Launch on April 22
- Snapdragon 710 SoC
- 3960 mAh with fast charging
While there are still speculations about what the device specifications will be, we have lined up 5 reasons why you should wait for this device before going for your next 15K smartphone.
Robust Snapdragon 710 Chipset
This probably should be the biggest reason to wait for Realme 3 Pro. It is bringing the Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor onboard. The news was certified by Bluetooth SIG as well as Geekbench where it was also revealed that this is a 10nm tech. With this tech, Snapdragon 710 beats the smartphones with Snapdragon 675 having the Adreno 616 GPU over later’s Adreno 612. Moreover, it was confirmed from the CEO Madhav Sheth that Realme 3 Pro will be the first device in its segment to have support for Fortnite.
When smartphones arrived, they were all rainbows and butterflies except one thing- battery. The smartphone batteries have struggled a lot when it comes to impressing the users. But the arrival of Chinese manufacturers changed the game and they targeted the market that cannot go around carrying a power bank. Realme 3 Pro represents the same segment and it will look to overcome the only thing Realme 2 Pro lacked in- battery life. According to Bluetooth SIG, the smartphone will have a large 3960 mAh capacity battery.
Android 9 Pie-based ColorOS 6.0
This one is especially for users who have previous experience with Color OS. This device is equipped with the latest ColorOS 6.0 version out of the box based on Android 9 Pie. It will bring boundless design themes, several tweaks here and there, to ultimately improve the user experience. Some major highlights of this can be gesture navigation. Hyper Boost to give “super fluid gaming experience”, and of course a whole new launcher with app drawer.
This is another side where Realme really focuses on. Realme CEO Madhav Sheth recently shared some cool camera samples to give us an idea of why this device can be your next go-to thing. Two of the shared images flaunted the HDR performance of the rear-camera whereas another photo showed its selfie capabilities. Looking at the resolution, the front snapper looks to be higher than 13MP. The rumors have been around that front can be equipped with a 25MP snapper with AI capabilities. The coming week will clear out our confusions but we can say, the cameras have already impressed us.
Fast Charging Support
A bigger battery is one thing, but a bigger battery with fast charging can impress anyone. Interestingly, Realme devices never had fast-charging support before and Realme 3 Pro is expected to be the first one to break the tradition. Rumors are that it might utilize OPPO’s VOOC 3.0 flash charging. If it wants to compete with Redmi Note 7 Pro head to head, it needs something against the Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support.
